Spring has Sprung for Fort Worth Fun

The Bradford Pears are turning a bit white and in our tan dormant lawns we are beginning to see the signs of a few green blades of grass coming through.  We hope the last of the cold fronts has come and gone.  Come on warmer weather – we are ready for you!

We’ve pulled some posts from the archives to remind you to get out and enjoy this beautiful city of ours!

Fort Worth Botanic Garden : Butterfly Exhibit going on in the conservatory through April 6 and their Spring Plant Sale is on April 5th to help you fill your gardens with beautiful color just like theirs. This is my FAVORITE time of year to frequent the gardens as every visit there are more and more beautiful buds to look at and new things to see.  Also, my old bread once again finds a home in the bellies of the turtles at the rose garden pond (one of my kids’ favorite parts of a botanic garden trip).

Coyote Drive-In : Grab dinner at The Canteen and enjoy a double feature with the family.  Kids fall asleep after the first show? One of you sneak away for some extra snacks and enjoy a date movie for the second show!
