Thrill rides like the high-banking turns and heart-pounding drop of the Viper or the Great White body slide can keep the dads, teens, and tweens screaming. While moms who want to relax, can take the younger tots to float in the wave pool or relax on the white sands of Beachside Bay. And for some excitement to wear them out for early bedtimes, take the little kids to Frogstein’s Splashatory, a five-level interactive playground with eight slides. But let’s be honest: Sometimes as great as a day at the water park sounds, moms groan a bit at the thought of figuring out what to pack, thinking about fighting crowds for a good spot in the shade, and the cost of taking the family to such an outing. Let us help ease your worries.
Packing for the Park
We definitely want everyone safe in the summer sun–sunscreen, hats, the right clothing (rash guards are great for kids) and sunglasses are a given. The Texas summer sun can begin to damage your skin in 20 minutes or less, so we must always be careful when taking our little ones out in this great weather. But no worries if you forget any of these items, NRH2O has you covered at our shop. Water safety is of the utmost concern at our park and life jackets are offered at no additional charge to all our guests. We ask you leave your personal floats (other than children’s arm floaties and inflatable baby floats at home).
Hungry? Either grab a bite at one of our great eateries OR if you prefer to bring in your own cooler of homemade snacks and lunch, you can do that, too! No other waterpark in the area allows you to bring in your own cooler for FREE!
Made in the Shade
How does reserved seating (two chairs & two chaise lounges) in a shady cabana along with supplied bottled water, free refills in a souvenir drink cup, family-sized locker rental, plus discounted admission sound? But the best amenity . . . you won’t even have to get up because NRH2O provides free wait service throughout the day to handle all your food and beverage needs. All this can be yours when you book a cabana for the day! Or if you just want a lounger under a big shady umbrella, we have those to be reserved too!
