Mom & Me Play Date at The Happy Lark

Holy moly do we have some news for you: The Fort Worth Moms Blog and The Happy Lark are hosting a Mom & Me Play Date — woohoo!!!

The Happy Lark is a brand new shop and indoor playspace for little ones ages newborn to 6. The shop features clothing, toys, and books that are modern, fresh, and creative. Children can explore toys that encourage unplugged play (for example, a pretend pumpkin patch) in the 1,400 square-foot playspace while their parents get a chance to meet up with friends and enjoy free coffee.

Fort Worth mom Suzanne Fluke and her Dallas-based sister (and mom-to-be) Caitlin Deville created The Happy Lark to provide a local space for children to play, parents to connect, and for anyone with a little one he or she loves to have a go-to place to find a high quality, special gift.

Visitors to the playspace can choose between a drop-in rate or a monthly membership. The playspace is also available for birthday parties on Saturdays, along with a party room for serving food.

During a normal week, The Happy Lark is closed on Mondays, but the FWMB is taking it over on Monday, November 9, 2015 for not one but TWO Mom & Me Play Date events.

• Where: 5816 S. Hulen, Fort Worth, TX 76132.
• When: November 9, 2015. The morning event is 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The afternoon event is 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Come to one or both!
• What: Attendees of the Mom & Me Play date will enjoy time in the open play space, the snack and activity station, and The Happy Lark shop. Oh, and you know it is not a FWMB event without goodies and giveaways!
• How to attend: Because the event space has strict capacity parameters, entry into the Mom & Me Play Date requires a ticket for each person, ages 0-99. (If you’re 100, you can come free. You have certainly earned it!) If you plan to attend both time slots, you must purchase a ticket for the morning AND afternoon events. The morning and afternoon events have 48 spots available for each. Tickets are $5.00 each, plus small processing fee. You must show a ticket for each person attending the event.

Also, because The Happy Lark play space and snack/activity center is a shoe-free zone, be sure to bring socks for each attendees. No one likes cold toes!
