Our friends at iCare Emergency Room and Urgent Care sponsored this edition of “Around Cowtown.” With wait times of less than five minutes, patients at iCare will be seen by board-certified emergency physicians and registered emergency nurses. The facilities offer on-site lab testing, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound services. Virtual urgent care services allow patients to be seen — and diagnosed — by a board-certified physician without leaving the comfort of home. For more information on these or other services, visit iCare online at www.icare-er.com or call the Fort Worth center (located at Chisholm Trail & Sycamore School Road) at 469-754-8634. Look it up on Facebook or Twitter.
It’s not just the month for flowers and chocolates; February in the Fort also brings fun, educational, and informative events the whole family will enjoy! We at the Fort Worth Moms Blog (FWMB) scoured Tarrant County and surrounding areas for this edition of “Around Cowtown” — from free films to interactive museum fun, and from cookie decorating to bubble shows. Need a little “me time” without the kiddos in tow? Make February the month you sneak in some self-care on a regular basis (or maybe a Valentine’s Day lunch date with your partner — we won’t tell)! Consult our “2019 Guide to Preschools and Parents’ Day Out” to find out where you can enroll your littles in an enriching program near you. Then you can use some of that alone time to train for your next competitive run (find one in the revamped “Guide to DFW Running Events“) . . . and maybe burn off those Valentine’s sweets!
