Around Cowtown :: Family Friendly Events {July 2019}

0

Our friends at iCare Emergency Room and Urgent Care sponsored this edition of “Around Cowtown.” With wait times of less than five minutes, patients at iCare will be seen by board-certified emergency physicians and registered emergency nurses. The facilities offer on-site lab testing, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound services. Virtual urgent care services allow patients to be seen — and diagnosed — by a board-certified physician without leaving the comfort of home. For more information on these or other services, visit iCare online at www.icare-er.com or call the Fort Worth center (located at Chisholm Trail & Sycamore School Road) at 469-754-8634. Look it up on Facebook or Twitter.

Lather on the sunscreen. Douse yourself in bug spray. Pack that picnic basket. July in Cowtown holds treats like outdoor movie screenings, free concerts on the Trinity River, and some of the juiciest peaches you’ll ever taste! Looking for more family-friendly fun in Fort Worth and surrounding areas? Don’t miss this year’s “Guide to Fourth of July :: Tarrant County” for the low-down on patriotic parades, cook-outs, and fireworks displays this month. Check out our “Guide to Area Farmers Markets” for the updated listing of where to buy local, in-season produce with your kiddos. Or, for a more educational outing, stop in for story time at a local library or other community meeting place. Make a day of it, and try one of the many “Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Tarrant County.”
