Guide to Indoor main

If you live in Texas, you know that the weather can literally drop 40 degrees in a matter of hours! In the summer, temperatures can also climb well into the 100s — and not see the 80s or below — for DAYS. Indoor play options are a must.

And if you are in town for a visit — or even new to the area — this resource is great for finding numerous indoor locations to try out.

Fort Worth Moms is proud to bring you the “Guide to Indoor Activities.” A big thank you to our sponsor, PlayWisely, for making this guide extra special. We have featured options all across Tarrant County to get your family active and having fun indoors no matter how frightful the weather outside may get.

Have a child with special needs or differing abilities? Check out our “Family Fun for Kiddos with Special Needs” for some creative indoor play options all your littles can enjoy.

PlayWisely is the first developmental play system designed to optimize each child’s natural learning and movement ability through each stage of development. Combining science, education, and sport, its programs take advantage of the brain’s early critical wiring period from birth to age five when learning is most efficient and fun. The PlayWisely method creates a “Lab to Living Room” connection for parents who want the best start their child. They offer classes, home programs, and licensing opportunities.
