This global pandemic is now validating the daily clothing choices I’ve made for years now. You could say I’m a trendsetter?

For all my fellow lovers of comfort, check out these tried-and-true, affordable options, priced at $30 and below.

Best Sports Bra

Trial and error landed me on a seamless light support sports bra for women, regularly $19.99, at Old Navy. For me, the adjustable criss-cross back is key for comfort.

Sleeveless Tops

Sleeveless is perfect for the Texas heat, and if wish to avoid a LAP Violation (leggings as pants), then here’s a trick. Order from Old Navy online, in your size, but in tall. It will give you extra length to cover the bum. You’re welcome.

The Breathe ON V-Back Side-Vent Tank for Women is a shirt I own in multiple colors. I love the side vents and V-back details. Regular price is $19.99 at Old Navy.

Graphic Muscle Tank Top for Women has a cute curved hem and comes in several designs for $16.99 at Old Navy price.

Women’s Ladies Perfect Tri Rocker Tank has a flattering halter neck. Amazon offers several colors, with pricing from $11.49 to $14.49.

Short Sleeve Shirts

If you prefer a bit more coverage in your arms, here are some favorite finds, again, at great prices!

Loose-Fit Luxe V-Neck Tunic Tee for Women is available in solids and prints, plus this tunic guarantees no LAP violations with no need to search for the longer tall fit. Full price is $22, again, at Old Navy.

EveryWear Printed V-Neck Tee for Women comes in trendy prints like camouflage and polka dots, all with a curved hem. Sign me up! Old Navy carries this top for $14.99 regular price.

Leggings and Pants

90 Degree By Reflex leggings are one of the most highly rated leggings on Amazon, priced at $24.99, with free shipping. Many color choices are available, in both full length leggings and the 7/8 length legging.

Premium Women’s Palazzo Pants with Pockets was an option I found from an Instagram fashion blogger to wear for a long flight. Though our trip got cancelled, I love my comfy snakeskin print pants. High waisted with elastic, these lounge pants are friendly for all figures. Amazon carries many solid and printed options for $19.95, with free shipping.

Adidas Originals Women’s Three Stripes Legging are my favorite sporty leggings. Another great Amazon find, these are available for $29.95, with free shipping.

Super Skinny Pull-On Jeggings for Women Skeptical on the comfort side of things, I’ve been pleasantly surprised and now consider these my fancy leggings. Old Navy has these in two different denim choices, regularly priced at $29.99.

Pajamas

I’m the kind of mom who puts on pjs as soon as I know I’m done with outings for the day. I’ve been on a quest for the best, most comfortable pajamas at great prices, and Target has become my go-to.

Women’s Beautifully Soft Pajama Pants by Stars Above are soft as promised by Target and bargain priced at $17.99.

Women’s Beautifully Soft Fleece Lounge Jogger Pants by Stars Above are a trendy jogger option that have become my Sunday afternoon staple. Target sells these joggers for $19.99.

Women’s Beautifully Soft Short Sleeve Notch Collar and Short Pajama Set by Stars Above are a perfect summer pajama set. Anna Kendrick sports a similar pair in a commercial, and all the wives wore these on the last season of Married at First Sight. Target has this butter soft pajama set available for $21.99.

Splurge Items

Maybe you want to use a little of your stimulus money to treat yourself to wearing what feels like a pillow soft cloud? These splurge items are great for gift and wish lists.

PJ Harlow Women’s Anne camisole was a birthday gift for me purchased at a boutique. Amazon has the same camisole for $51.15.

PJ Harlow Women’s Mikel pajama shorts complete the summer pajama set, priced at $43 on Amazon.

On the Fly Jogger Woven pants are from Lululemon for $118. Knock-off versions can’t compare in fit and style, so this item may be one you save up some birthday money or such to purchase as a really big splurge.

There you have it, mom friends. Now you, too, can shop from your own couch and add some quarantine fashion to your everyday wardrobe.

  1. Right? Target is my go-to for sure when it comes to PJ’s. And listen, I’m a pajama mama. Especially in the winter– I’m in PJs by 4 pm. Or during COVID. Just swap the daytime ones for the night time ones.
