Hosting a baby shower at someone’s house can be fun and personal, but planning a shower at a venue has several advantages. First: No clean up! Second: The venue itself elevates the event, making it feel extra special without the extra effort — no handmade decorations required. And third: There are tons of places to host a baby shower in Tarrant County!

If you’re looking for a venue to host a baby shower in Fort Worth, Southlake, Grapevine, the Mid-Cities, or Keller, here are some spots!

1. Artspace111

Artspace111 in Fort Worth is perfect for the artistic mama-to-be. A contemporary gallery of Texas artists, this historic event venue includes two sculpture gardens, an outdoor patio, and a pristine indoor reception area.

2. Brewed

If you want to feel like you’re brunching at grandma’s table, a party room at Brewed in Fort Worth might be perfect for you. This wildly popular breakfast and lunch spot opens its doors after hours (4pm and later) to private parties and large groups. Plan an outdoor shower on the covered patio, or coordinate your favors with the gold-studded interiors. Guests can order craft coffee, “not” cocktails, and Texan staples like a honey butter chicken biscuit.

3. Legends Hall at The Marq Southlake

Located in Bicentennial Park in Southlake, the Legends Hall at the Marq offers two spaces fit for a baby shower — the Club Lounge and Lounge & Parlor, both designed for family-style affairs. The club lounge for 30-50 guests offers you the flexibility of bringing your own caterer and drinks. The lounge features billiards, a TV, fireplace, and a full kitchen for food prep.

4. Mason & Dixie

If you’re looking for a venue that is all things southern comfort look no further than Mason & Dixie in historic downtown Grapevine. The owner counts Julia Child, Ina Garten, and Martha Stewart as her culinary and hospitality influencers, so you know whatever she whips up will be good. Like the showstopping desserts: Flower-studded tres leches and baked-to-order brown sugar bread pudding (Is your mouth watering, yet?). Baby showers are celebrated upstairs with a set menu of soup, salad, sandwich, dessert, and non-alcoholic drinks, or request a mimosa bucket.

5. Rise No.1

Rise No. 1 in Fort Worth specializes in soufflé — the masterpiece of French cuisine. The restaurant serves all sorts of savory and sweet versions of the fluffy stuff, including one called Marshmallow Soup which is, if you ask me, merveilleux. Host your rendezvous in the birch tree dining forest, or reserve the private outdoor patio. Remember to ask about the gender reveal soufflés, too.

6. Roots

Roots urban event space in Fort Worth offers indoor spaces with open floor plans and outdoor spaces for al fresco dining. The rental includes tables and chairs, a private parking lot for your guests, and a prep kitchen. Add on the in-house florist and design specialists to add the finishing touches to your baby shower.

7. Rose Garden Tea Room

Rose Garden Tea Room in Arlington was designed with femininity in mind. It’s a perfect spot for a mama-to-be who favors the delicate and whimsical high tea and homemade desserts. Rent its indoor space, complete with a pergola and trailing plants, after hours.

8. Victorian Tower House

Located in Old Town Keller, the Victorian Tower House is an elegant yet cozy home for a shower to remember. The space includes a prep kitchen, audio system, projector for photos, and an outdoor pavilion with twinkle lights. It accommodates up to 100 people.

9. Winewood Grill

For the wine lover (but currently abstaining, obviously), a baby shower at Winewood in Grapevine is a perfect pairing. The private event space accommodates up to 65 guests and includes an award-winning wine list, complementary valet service, and audio/visual access. And for something she can have, try the charcuterie board or Texas-sized cinnamon roll.

10. Whistle Britches

If it’s fried chicken she wants, fried chicken she gets at Whistle Britches in Far North Dallas. Its three locations in Dallas, Plano, and Southlake are all excellent for celebrating a special occasion, inside or out, by day or by candlelight at night. On the website you’ll find a private party inquiry form (complete with photos), which is recommended for groups of eight or more.

Bonus: The Lumen Room

While the Lumen Room on Panther Island in Fort Worth is primarily used for photographic purposes, the space is available for rent for showers and parties. The white walls and big windows provide a blank canvas for any type of baby shower theme. Note: bring your own tables, chairs, food, drink, and decorations.
