While I didn't invent the meal plan, the idea greatly improved the efficiency of my home management. I was, however, worried about how well I would be able to stick with it. I like a little flexibility and don't want to be limited by a piece of paper.
Once we whittled the pile down to a sensible amount, the kids accompanied me to a women’s shelter to deliver the excess toys. We toured the facility, and the boys got their first glimpse of what life looks like for some. Let me start by saying no sane person is ALWAYS organized! But I would be insane if I did not have my systems in place. Who has time for systems? YOU DO, mama -- and in fact, having them will save you time, frustration, and energy.
