Whether you are on a girls trip, romantic couples get away, or a road trip with your family, there is something for everyone to enjoy in the county seat of the Brazos Valley.

What to Do

Adamson Lagoon // This mini waterpark offers a long winding water slide, tadpole slide, lily pad walk, water basketball, and an Olympic-sized pool.

Blue Bell Tours and Store // Located 43 minutes outside of College Station in the small town of Brenham, this town is worth the drive. See the birthplace of Blue Bell Ice Cream, take a tour, shop Blue Bell themed gifts, and enjoy ice cream samples. Be sure to check out the beautiful town of Brenham during your visit. Take note that the Blue Bell Creamery is not open on weekends.

Brazos Valley Children’s Museum // The Brazos Valley Children’s Museum offers imaginative fun for children of all ages. Children ages 0-24 months can enjoy a soft play zone to practice and develop their gross motor skills. Older children can pretend to be community workers while exploring the main street exhibit or bring their imagination to life in the Innovation Station.

Brazos Valley Natural History Museum // This museum is a fun, yet educational, look into Texas’ natural history as well as traveling special exhibits.

Downtown Bryan // Take a historical walking tour while you shop in eclectic stores, grab a bite to eat, and come back for the fantastic nightlife

George Bush Presidential Library // Explore the artifacts and records of the 41st president of the United States. The museum also serves as the burial site for the president and the first lady.

booksPeach Creek Vineyard // Peach Creek Vineyards is perfect for a couples retreat or a ladies trip. They host year round themed events, wine tasting, and grape stomping.

Research Park // Research Park is located next to the George Bush Presidential Library.

Explore // Hike the nature trails and play 18 holes of disc golf.

Texas A & M University // Texas A & M is the heart of College Station. It was established in 1876 as the first public institution of higher learning in Texas. Take a walking tour of the beautiful campus, learn about Aggie traditions, and visit Kyle Field.

Trader Town // Shopping is a must at Trader Town. The indoor and outdoor markets are only open Sundays at 9:00 a.m.

Blue Baker // Order sandwiches, personal pizzas, and gigantic salads in a fast casual environment.

C&J Bbq // The best BBQ in Bryan and College Station. It offers plethora of sides and smoked meats.

Dixie Chicken // The Dixie Chicken is a transition in Aggieland. Grab a cold beer and a fried chicken sandwich.

Fuego // This is the perfect place to grab a quick taco or bowl when you are between sight seeing adventures.

Hullabaloo // Don’t leave town without stopping at Hullabaloo Diner. They were featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives and offer a complete diner menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Koppe Bridge // Grab a juicy burger or fried chicken sandwich along with thick cut fries and a beer in a laid-back environment.

Laynes // Located right next to campus, Laynes is known for their huge portions of chicken fingers and french fries. Be sure to grab a milkshake as dessert.

Napa Flats // Napa Flats serves locally sourced, seasonal dishes. They focus on wood-fired pizzas and hearty sandwiches.

Paolo’s Italian Kitchen // Paolo’s Italian kitchen is a warm, family friendly spot that focuses on authentic Italian food. Check the website for updated menus because it changes based on availability.

The Republic Steakhouse // The Republic is perfect for a romantic couples date night. It specializes in whiskey and bourbon.

Air BnB // There a tons of amazing options for houses of all sizes and price ranges. Find the perfect house for a large group, couple, or family with kids.
