The weekend of events for the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival begins Friday, December 10th, at 7 p.m., with the Friday Night Lights Mile: a two-lap Grand Prix style race around Dallas City Hall Plaza. There are multiple seats available for recreational and serious runners!
Things start heating up on Saturday at 8:30 a.m., beginning with a 10K race. Then, at 8:45 a.m., the 5K kicks off. At 10:15 a.m., it’s time for the adults to move aside and make way for the kids to begin the 100M relay. At 10:30 a.m., the Oncor Kids Race will begin. Both kids events are free of charge.
Make way for the serious runners, because Sunday’s events include the Full, Half, and Ultra Marathons. These races will begin in Downtown Dallas and showcase some of the most notable areas of the city. There will be exciting cheer stations and on-course entertainment before finishing the race at Dallas City Hall Plaza.
Spectators are able to attend for free!
