Today, children of all ages face stress like never before. Normal childhood stress inducers such as schoolwork, socialization with peers, and family dynamics have been compounded by a global pandemic which has changed their way of life. Some are seeing drastic changes in their families from loss of loved ones to financial difficulties. Others have seen changes at school with social distancing guidelines, masks, and/or virtual learning. If you think coping as an adult has been difficult, try being a kid!
