Welcome to the Fort Worth Moms community calendar! This is a one-stop spot for our readers to check out all that is happening in Tarrant County and surrounding areas. From date night ideas to family outings, each month features events our readers want to attend.
Note: We do not allow recurring events lasting more than seven days or any camps. If you would like more information about promoting your event to FWM readers, please contact [email protected].
The Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth presents the second part of our introduction to classical music by blurring the lines between classical and popular forms.
The Pan-Tones exemplify the diversity and cultural cross-pollination that is ever-present in Texas music. They explore the ongoing dialogue between the pan-flute music of the Aymara and Quechua peoples of Peru and Bolivia, European classical music, and chicha music.
Audiences will hear cumbia, huayno, kompa, choro, and more, interwoven with narration that illuminates the connections between the styles.
The evening will start at 6pm on Tuesday, September 3, and will last approximately 90 minutes. Tickets are $20 each, and include one drink ticket and some bar snacks. Stage West’s season ticket holders receive discounts for the program.
