The Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains Council is proud to invite the Scouts, their families, friends and interested community members to the first annual STEM Family Fair hosted at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. At this community event, all are welcome to explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The Fort Worth Museum of Science will have experiments to try, exhibits to visit, and the Planetarium will be open for shows. In addition, the Museum has created opportunities and a guide for current Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes to earn steps towards their Space Science Badge while at the event. But that’s not all! GSTOP will be featuring some of our new and fantastic STEM program partners. Robots, engineering, and the outdoors?! Oh my! Our special exhibitors are excited to showcase and provide hands-on STEM discovery activities. Troop leaders, are you ready to network and find new ways support your troop with their STEM badges and journeys? Come one, come all – volunteers, troops, family and friends. This event will be like no other before. This is not a drop-off event; minors will need to be accompanied by an adult. Girl Scout members pay $7.50 and non-members pay $10.00. There is a $10.00 fee for parking. Bring the whole family and your best friend, too. We can’t wait to see you!!
