Lucky for those of us who inhabit North Texas, there is no shortage of places to consign and thrift your stuff. Some are clothing-only, some are furniture-only, and some are a lovely mix of the two.
Buying secondhand is good not just for our wallets — those kids never stop growing! — but also for the environment, too. Many thrift and consignment stores benefit local charities and they help keep money in our communities as well.
