I’ll Be Your Mirror: Art and the Digital Screen

An arty exploration of screen time! This new exhibition at the Fort Worth Modern examines the screen’s vast impact on art from 1969 to the present. Kimbell Kids Drop-In Studio
Saturdays

Kids ages 12 and younger (plus adult companions) can visit the museum on Saturdays for special gallery explorations and related studio-art projects. This month’s theme is “Art + Movement.” 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. Free!


Scarborough Renaissance Festival
Weekends

Saturdays and Sundays from April 8 through the end of May, head to Waxahachie and step back in time. This ren faire is family-friendly, with games, rides, and shows for everyone. Tons of information and a schedule at the link. 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tickets from $14.


Uncrated: Reimagining the Arlington Museum of Art, 1950-2025 

This retrospective exhibition features never-before-seen art, artifacts, and historic images from the archives of the Arlington Museum of Art. Tickets $10.

Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival

Over 40 miles of mapped bluebonnet trails, the biggest of its kind in the state, can be found just 35 miles south of Dallas. The festival will have live music, art vendors, food, kids’ activities, and more on the streets of Downtown Ennis. Hours vary by day, see link for festival schedule. Fuel Fest

This automotive event at Texas Motor Speedway will have live music, drifting with ride-alongs, guest pro drivers, art showcases, and more. 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tickets $40; ages 12 and under free.
