River Legacy Park and Nature Center will host its outdoor fall festival on October 5 from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Enjoy the pumpkin patch, children’s games, live music, food trucks, and animal presentations. Admission is $8 per person. Kids under two get in FREE. Parking is FREE with a complimentary hayride to the festival.

Visitors of all ages experience cattle drives with real cowboys and cows. The FREE drives run twice daily at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Starting September 21, kids ages three – nine visit animal habitats and learn STEM skills. The exhibit is included with museum admission or membership. Tickets start at $12. Kids three and under get in FREE.
Students ages 16 and up learn about the history of afternoon tea, get tips on how to host a tea party, and enjoy bites from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $70 per person.

Visitors ages 12 and up get crafty while they watch Beetlejuice. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $14 and include popcorn and dessert. Bring your own craft supplies.

Bring your pup to a FREE outdoor screening of Scooby Doo from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Complimentary popcorn plus food and ice cream will be available for purchase.
Girls Nature Workshop: Birds of a Feather :: Fort Worth Botanic Garden
From 1:00 – 2:30 p.m., girls ages seven – 12 and their adult companions learn about horticulture and floriculture. Member tickets are $10, non-members pay $12, and companion tickets are $5.
Trash Bash :: Warren Park
Volunteer to pick up trash in Burleson from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Volunteers of all ages are treated to pizza and a raffle afterward. Sign up online or call 682-312-2765.
