Around Cowtown :: Family Friendly Events {August 2019}

Our friends at iCare Emergency Room and Urgent Care sponsored this edition of “Around Cowtown.” With wait times of less than five minutes, patients at iCare will be seen by board-certified emergency physicians and registered emergency nurses. The facilities offer on-site lab testing, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound services. Virtual urgent care services allow patients to be seen — and diagnosed — by a board-certified physician without leaving the comfort of home. For more information on these or other services, visit iCare online at www.icare-er.com or call the Fort Worth center (located at Chisholm Trail & Sycamore School Road) at 469-754-8634. Look it up on Facebook or Twitter.

Things are heating up! Don’t let the sizzling heatwaves discourage you and your family from getting around town. From movie nights and summer camps to water parks and rodeos, there are endless ways to live-up the rest of summer. Mark your calendar with the dates listed below.

Looking for more family-friendly fun in Fort Worth and surrounding areas? Don’t miss this year’s “Guide to Indoor Activities” for a round-up of places that offer a fun (and more importantly!) climate-controlled environment to play, learn, and explore. Also, check out our “Guide to Splash Pads and Water Fun” for an updated listing of where to take your kids for a dip. Some parents may find our “Family Fun for Kiddos with Special Needs,” just the ticket they need for a stress-free outing.
