Disclaimer :: Costco sponsored this blog post, however, the words, experiences, and opinions belong to the writer. Fort Worth Moms LOVES Costco!
When we run out of toilet paper at our house, it’s a big deal. It rarely happens, so when there isn’t a square to spare, we’re caught off guard. The reason we don’t often run out of toilet paper (or paper towels, diapers, wipes, contact solution . . . I could go on), is because we are Costco members.
Growing up, going on shopping trips with my parents was a blast. There were samples to try, cute clothes, toys, and when we were done shopping, we’d grab a piece of pizza or a hotdog on the way out. Since then, I’ve matured. I’ll still buy a slice of pizza, but I’ll add a delicious mocha freeze to my order.
The thing that keeps our family renewing our annual membership to Costco is the stability it brings to our lifestyle. Not only does it consistently have quality brands my family can rely on, but we can also buy enough to last. It saves the back-and-forth trips to our local grocery story for products I know I’ll need and use in mass.
For example, when my daughter was an infant and we were supplementing with formula, we opted for Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand. She loved it, her body responded well to it, and it was a great deal compared to other stores. The ingredients were comparable to name brands, so I felt comfortable nourishing her with this formulation. The same went for diapers and wipes! Looking back, there were rarely any late-night runs to the corner market for diapers or wipes, and our typical shopping trips weren’t loaded with diapers since we bought in bulk at Costco.
I feel so confident in the products Costco offers, I’ve brainstormed a list you can take to their warehouse! You’ll find products I already mentioned, plus other goodies.

And great news! When NEW members sign up, during January 10 – 28, they’ll receive a $30 Costco Shop Card with the purchase of a new membership with auto renewal. Current members do not miss out on the perks either: Costco is giving away a limited edition Costco Tumbler during January 16-19, 2020 to any EXISTING member who sign up in warehouse for auto-renewal.
Sure, Costco has fantastic products. And from one mama to another, you can find a few of the brands they offer at your local grocery store. But the thing that sets Costco apart goes beyond groceries. Costco HAS. IT. ALL. In one stop, I can fill up my car’s tank with gasoline, order new frames and contacts in their optical department, update my home and auto insurance, pick up prescriptions, get a free hearing test in their hearing aid center, and print frame-worthy pictures in their photo center. It even has a travel department with exclusive vacation packages for members, including rental cars, flights, cruises, and hotels.
As I sip a beverage out of my members-only, Costco-etched tumbler (maybe it’s coffee, maybe it’s some KS vodka), I know Costco’s has my family’s best interest in mind. Members get access to affordable deals and sustainable, quality products that my kiddos and I deserve. Costco has thought of everything down to the last drop – literally! Service providers even do water delivery service, which is so convenient for folks like us who have hard water.
