Fort Worth Moms is searching for new writers to join our team!

We are looking for local voices to join our writing team this year, and we want to hear from you. This is a volunteer position, but there are some really fun perks to make it all worthwhile.

We are interested in receiving applications from women of all walks of life, seasons, and stages; but here are a few target roles we hope to fill with this writer call:

Diversity in skin color, religion, and family type.
Grandmothers.
Researchers — moms who love to compile a list of resources and info.

There are two phases to this vetting process: (1) complete the application and (2) submit a writing sample on your assigned topic (sent by the editorial team at FWM).

What does it mean to be a Fort Worth Moms writer?

Here’s what you give:

Submit one article per month (500-900 words), which will be published on the Fort Worth Moms website.
Attend meetings once per quarter.
Make friends and support fellow Fort Worth Moms team members.
Impact parents all across North Texas.

Here’s what you get:

Your photo and bio on the Fort Worth Moms website {with links to your personal blog, personal business, and/or social media handles if you choose to share them}.
Access to the FWM team Facebook group and other internal communications.
Opportunities to test out products and/or services.
Information and professional development in the areas of writing, blogging, SEO, and social media.
New friendships and an amazing experience!
