Cowpoke Camp: Callin’ all cowpokes! The Cattle Raisers Museum and the National Cowgirl Museum team up to celebrate the West every summer. Every Friday in July, there will be an exciting morning of games, crafts, and activities for cowgirls and cowboys. Cost is $15 per camper, per week; for kids ages six – ten years. Peppa Pig World of Play is open for summer fun all season long! This venue is a new, indoor play center at Grapevine Mills, designed specifically to give preschool children a unique opportunity to step into the playful world of their favorite little piggy. Sensory Time at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is a day when lighting and sound are adjusted to accommodate sensory needs. (Sensory Time is included with regular admission.) Guests are encouraged to bring whatever needed, such as fidget toys, headphones, etc. The Calming Room may only be used by one family at a time. Sensory backpacks include several items that may help guests with sensory needs enjoy their visit to the museum. (Backpacks are first come, first served and are available for guests to check out at the ticket counter.)

Cowpoke Camp: Callin’ all cowpokes! Every Friday in July, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., there will be an exciting morning of games, crafts, and activities for cowgirls and cowboys. Camps are held Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Each camp has a different STEM-focused theme. All bilingual camps are designed to empower children to explore through age-appropriate project-based learning using science and history, as well as offering hands-on experiences, problem-solving opportunities, and creative and scientific thinking. Classes will also use Museum exhibits and programs to support class topics. Each camp will have a Spanish immersion experience. Camp fee is $225.

In addition to enjoying family activities, you can beat the summer heat with complimentary ice cream, while supplies last. Admission for special exhibitions is waived during Family Festivals.

STEM Squad at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is ready for summer! Explore science, technology, engineering, and math, all while attending a weeklong class at the Museum. STEM Squad summer classes are for guests ages seven – 11 years old. These weeklong summer classes run Monday – Thursday. Students may register for morning (9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) or even (1:00  – 3:30 p.m.) classes, depending on their age. Camps are held Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Each camp has a different STEM-focused theme. All bilingual camps are designed to empower children to explore through age-appropriate project-based learning using science and history, as well as offering hands-on experiences, problem-solving opportunities, and creative and scientific thinking. Classes will also use Museum exhibits and programs to support class topics. Each camp will have a Spanish immersion experience. Camp fee is $225.

Cowpoke Camp: Callin’ all cowpokes! Every Friday in July, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., there will be an exciting morning of games, crafts, and activities for cowgirls and cowboys. This week’s theme is “JR Curator Camp.” Cost is $15 per camper, per week; for kid ages six – 10 years. More information here.

Kimbell Kids Drop-In Studio at Kimbell Art Museum. This free program introduces children ages 12 and younger and their adult companions to fun and inspiring ways to enjoy art through gallery explorations and related studio-art projects. Sign-up begins at noon at the museum on the day of the program.

Story Bites – not your younger sibling’s story time! Join for a relaxing hour and listen to a book while coloring and sipping some lemonade. STEM Squad at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is ready for summer! Explore science, technology, engineering, and math, all while attending a weeklong class at the Museum. STEM Squad summer classes are for guests ages seven – 11 years old. These weeklong summer classes run Monday – Thursday. Students may register for morning (9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) or even (1:00  – 3:30 p.m.) classes, depending on their age.
