
Nothing says freedom like a hometown Fourth of July parade and fireworks show. Most events feature fabulous food, fun games, and lots of shopping, so bring your blankets, chairs, and wagons!
Each year, Fort Worth Moms publishes a roundup of Independence Day events happening around the Tarrant County area. We are thrilled with this year’s line up!

Arlington 4th of July Parade (downtown) // Monday, July 4 // 9:00 a.m. // Find a spot early and enjoy this two-hour patriotic parade that covers two miles through downtown Arlington and the College Park District. This event is free.
July 4th Fest presented by Coca-Cola (Six Flags in Arlington) // July 2 – 4 // Each night will feature a fireworks and laser show around 10:00 p.m. Admission costs vary.
Burleson Lions Club 4th of July Parade // Monday, July 4 // 9:00 a.m. // The 18th annual event is organized by Burleson Lions Charitable Programs, Inc. This event is free.
4th of July Fireworks // Monday, July 4 // Come out early and enjoy the Lions Club Parade at 9:00 a.m. // Gates open at 5:00 p.m., with a concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. // Fireworks begin at 9:20 p.m. This event is free!
Stars and Guitars // June 24 // Every weekend before the Fourth, Colleyville celebrates with fireworks, concerts, and food trucks. This year country singer Joe Nichols headlines the event. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
Celebration of Freedom // Saturday, July 9 // 5:00 p.m. // Celebrate in Crowley with music, a little shopping, and of course, a fireworks show! Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Admissions is free.
Concerts in the Garden (Botanic Garden) // This annual event, running for its 30th year, is back for three weeks in June and July! // Pack a picnic and bring the whole family out for an evening of patriotic music and festive fireworks! // Get tickets, take a look at the concert schedule, and find all the details at the website.
Fort Worth’s Fourth (Panther Island Pavilion) // Watch the largest fireworks show in North Texas from the comfort of your home, backyard, or balcony. // Details TBD
Granbury’s Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration // July 2 – 4 // The community’s signature event draws tens of thousands to Granbury with a parade, contests, rodeo, live shows, and acclaimed fireworks. Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Free admission.
40th Annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza (Lake Grapevine) // Monday, July 4 // 9:30 p.m. // This fireworks show, starting at 9:30 p.m., can be viewed from any lakeside location. Some parks along Lake Grapevine may charge a minimal admission fee.
Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks // July 1 // Haslet’s annual Independence Day event has an all new venue this year- Haslet Community Park. // Bring your own chairs, blankets, and bug spray! // Vendors open at 6:00 p.m. The fireworks show will begin just after dark. Admission is free.
Fireworks Show // July 23 // Head over to NRH20 for the annual fireworks show at North Richland Hill’s Family Waterpark! // The show begins at 9:00 p.m. Please check the site for details.
Mansfield Rocks // July 3 // Tickets, reservations, and details to be announced soon.
Freedom First Fest // July 3 // Kick off the day with the Freedom First Festival at Elmwood Park, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. // The Sugar Ray Concert begins at 6:00 p.m. // Head over to Rivers Edge Park and wrap up the celebrations with a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.
Stars & Stripes // Sunday, July 3 // 3:00 – 11:00 p.m. // This event has fun for the whole family including a balloon artist, juggler, live entertainment, yard games, music, and food trucks.
Spark in the Park // Monday, July 4 // San Antonio country star, Mike Ryan, will the headlining act this year at the Heritage Park Amphitheater. Openers are Micky and the Motorcars, a band based out of Austin. // After the country western performances, stick around and enjoy the annual fireworks spectacular!
