This is such a cute show about six rowdy siblings and the making of a Christmas pageant. I remember loving it as a kid. Morning, afternoon, and evening showtimes available; tickets from $10.

A Christmas Carol: A New Musical Comedy
Casa Mañana | Fort Worth

This fresh twist on a classic tale features a contemporary pop score and current pop culture references. Suitable for all ages. Tickets from $29.

Take the Soul Train to Christmas
Jubilee Theatre | Fort Worth

Three-second plot synopsis: Ida, Nat, and Rosa get a school assignment to research how African Americans have celebrated Christmas in the past. A grandfather then uses magic to take them through actual history via a “soul train.” Suitable for all ages. Run time: 90 minutes. Tickets $32.

Home for the Holidays
Bass Performance Hall | Fort Worth

Get into the holiday spirit with a delightful program of your favorite seasonal tunes and Christmas carols performed by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and special guests (including St. Nick). Tickets from $53.18.

November 26 & 27
Nutcracker: Short and Sweet
Palace Theatre | Grapevine

North Central Ballet and the Palace Arts Center present a ballet that, as you might expect, is perfect for younger kids. Enjoy all the standout numbers from the classic show and be home before anyone starts fussing. Hurry, this one’s selling out quickly! Performances begin at 3:00 p.m. Tickets $15.

December 1 – 30 (select dates)
The Christmas Carol Experience
Dora Lee Langdon Mansion | Granbury

This entire run sold out last year and is expected to do the same in 2022, so get your tickets early! It’s an intimate, immersive theatrical experience with Broadway-caliber production value, designed for the entire family. During the 50-minute event, you’ll follow the actors through the different sets. See the link for more information on this unique production. Tickets from $34.

December 2 – 4
The Nutcracker
Will Rogers Auditorium | Fort Worth

This Ballet Frontier production features a cast of professional dancers, talented young students, dazzling costumes, and world-class choreography. Tickets from $40.

A Christmas Story: The Musical
Uptown Theater| Grand Prairie

How about a musical version of the 1983 holiday movie? If you need a plot refresher, the story is set in Indiana in the winter of 1940 — the Great Depression is just ending, and Christmas is approaching for Ralphie and his family. Tickets from $15.

December 2 – 20
Arlington Music Hall | Arlington

There are quite simply too many holiday shows at Arlington Music Hall to list. Check the link for all the options, from The Nutcracker to Christmas-themed Beatles and Elvis tributes to concerts in a variety of musical genres.

Will Hearn’s The Grand ‘Ol Christmas Show
Palace Theatre | Grapevine

The whole family can come to this one-of-a-kind musical variety show featuring classic Christmas songs and original sketch comedy antics. Tickets from $36.

December 9 – 24 (select dates)
The Nutcracker
Bass Performance Hall | Fort Worth

Texas Ballet Theater’s production features dazzling choreography and exquisite sets. Celebrate the season with enchantment, snowflakes, and sweets. Run time: approximately two hours, including one 20-minute intermission. Tickets from $20.

December 10
Handel’s Messiah
Will Rogers Auditorium | Fort Worth

Here’s one more thrilling Christmas masterpiece from the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra along with the UNT A Cappella Choir and special guest soloists. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets from $39.

December 16
The Nutty Nutcracker
Bass Performance Hall | Fort Worth

Don’t miss Texas Ballet Theater’s campy, zany take on a holiday favorite. This will be the last year you can see it! Recommended for ages 13 and up. Showtime is 8:00 p.m. Tickets from $60.
