A Guide to Family-Friendly Breweries in the Tarrant County Area

Texas knows beer. Not just any beer . . . GOOD beer. And there are many different fun breweries in Tarrant County and surrounding areas that not only offer the most delicious beer, but also provide a fun environment for families! What makes a brewery family-friendly? We considered several aspects: accessibility of restrooms, friendly staff, availability of on-site food trucks or other activities, overall cleanliness, a fun and safe atmosphere, and/or a welcoming environment. While not all breweries included in this list check each and every one of the family-friendly boxes, they do offer a family-friendly experience that is above par, meeting at least three of the standards listed above.

Pack up some toys and snacks for the kiddos, fill the diaper bag with the necessities (we recommend a changing pad, towel, or blanket too — as many breweries don’t provide changing tables), and head out to your local brewery. Or plan a trip to a brewery in a neighboring town for an afternoon of fun with the family! Do a little research before you go. Some breweries provide ample picnic or other seating, while others encourage you to bring your own chairs. Some have a relaxed policy on bringing in outside food, while others encourage patrons to support on-site vendors. Don’t be caught by surprise!

Below is a list of a few of our favorite family-friendly breweries in and near the Tarrant County area. This list was curated by FWMB team members and Neighbor Group members! We hope you enjoy these breweries with your family as much as we do!
