Whether or not we get much rain this April, there is always something to do around fabulous Fort Worth. We even have an entire guide dedicated to everything easter going on in Tarrant County! If we do get those April showers, there are storytimes and art activities. Our Mom & Me Discover Date is also this month! There is something for you and your kiddos to do no matter the weather.
In 2016, Kids in the Kitchen reached 1,300 children and hopes to raise that number to 1,500 this year. All right, dear readers, here is where the rubber meets the road: Do you care about nutrition, especially in the lives of Fort Worth children? Is this a non-profit that ignites a passion? If you answer, YES, then keep reading. You CAN help in REAL ways.
The Fort Worth Moms Blog has put together a great list of summer camps for all ages, stages, and interest levels. From sports to art to computer to nature, Fort Worth Moms Blog is sure to have something listed that will appeal to your child. We hope this is a helpful resource as you make summer plans for your family!
We are bursting with new development and family friendly neighborhoods. Anything you need, we probably have it. We have our choice of Targets (super or regular), our choice of Krogers (super or regular), and our choice of Starbucks (all super, of course). But, we also have amazing local spots. Here are a few of my family’s favorites.
Whether you are a fan of the crazy roller coaster that is Texas weather or not, it's hard to deny that our weather brings some insanely gorgeous opportunities for a Saturday afternoon on the patio. Now that I have kids, my patio criteria has changed just a tad, and we have discovered some excellent restaurants where we can ALL be happy (including our sweet little pup!)
When I tell you that I love where I live, you better believe carbs play a big part in that. Some of my favorite places in this part of town provide my ever-rumbling stomach with scrumptious breads and pastas that are worth writing home about.
The Mom & Me Discover Date happens April 5, 2017 at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. Explore the Amon Carter and experience an exclusive, just for FWMB readers, storytime program all about color! The morning will include three different stories that connect with artworks (each story is read every 15 minutes), a colorful art making activity, swag bags, and giveaways! It's a morning of discovery! There will also be food trucks on site for your lunchtime needs.
