Breastfeeding each of my kids has come with unique sacrifices, some with large learning curves and weeks of pain, but for me the gifts have out weighed the hardships each time.
Most mothers with commitment, perseverance, and support are able to be successful with breastfeeding, and we want to help you find your tribe that makes you as successful as possible.
Fort Worth Moms Blog has put together a comprehensive list of local breastfeeding resources filled with the support and encouragement needed to help you and your little one along your breastfeeding journeys.
Protect your face. It is singular that no one has yet to invent a face shield for co-sleeping parents. It would need to be clear, of course, so you can see your innocent offspring nestled so close, and yet durable so you don't have to explain a black eye. Until this product is available, you will want to familiarize yourself with the brace-for-impact position.

Bye Bye Baby Stage

0
With the baby stage in my past, I feel as if I can catch my breath again. I am beginning to have a taste of what life is like outside the realms of the baby stage, and I gotta say it is not bad.
As we staggered out of the hazy newborn stage, my daughter still wanted me and only me all the day long. Nobody else could hold her, comfort her, talk to her, look at her, breathe near her. Not even my husband could smile at her, lest she immediately burst into heart-wrenching sobs and scream with the vigor of a thousand banshees.
The last time he latched, I cried out in pain and saw his mouth full of blood. I knew right then I couldn't do it. I cried and cried and cried. The pain was unbearable. It pained me knowing my baby was basically starving. Instead of visiting another lactation consultant, I enlisted the help of my sister-in-law. At the time, she was exclusively pumping for my nephew after having similar issues.
